The Richards Trauma Process (TRTP™) is a simple, step-by-step process, which resolves trauma and trauma-related issues including PTSD, anger, anxiety, depression, fears, low self-esteem and phobias.
TRTP™ is a process of directed trance. It is a structured and sequenced series of steps, which when combined, create powerful and significant shifts.
TRTP™ does not merely address the symptoms of trauma. It deals with the underlying cause of the problem, removing the emotional charge from the past and returning the person to a state of empowerment, returning the sympathetic nervous system to calm.

I was introduced to TRTP by a friend. While I consider myself to be fairly open minded and willing to try new ways to make improvements in my life, I had had a lot of counselling and psychotherapy in the past with little long term benefit (and a fair bit of short term distress) so I was sceptical that any therapy that only required three or four sessions could make the kind of difference it claimed.
However, I had noticed positive changes in my friend and I decided it was worth a shot. Once I had completed my 'homework', which was mainly just to inform Cherie what to focus on, I was amazed by how much could be achieved in just three sessions. The best part was not having to relive the trauma, yet being able to 'deal to it' in a unique and powerful way.
It is less than a week since my third and final session and I have already noticed subtle changes in my reactions to things. I am no longer easily triggered by past traumas and I can look back on things that happened without pain or distress. This has huge implications for my physical and mental well being moving forward.
